"It was 6:45 on a Tuesday, kickoff in fifteen minutes, and we were down to nine."
— How Ringers started
We moved to Sydney and joined a local football team. Getting eleven people to the same park at the same time, week after week, turned out to be the hardest part of playing.
Someone always pulled out late. We'd end up messaging half our contacts hoping one of them was free, or playing a player short. So we built the tool we wished we'd had: a way to post the gap and have it filled by someone nearby who actually wants a game.
Ringers now works for any sport, any skill level, any part of the city — not just our Tuesday night five-a-side.
